2. Main projects:

• As a Ph.D. Candidate in Musicology at Indiana University, I am currently researching and writing my dissertation on the Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos.

• Tom Moore, from Princeton University, and I are list owners of the Luso-Brazilian Music Society List (LBMS-L), devoted to the scholarly discussion of the classical, folk, and popular musics of Brazil and Portugal.

• I currently work as Visiting Lecturer at the Indiana University School of Music and Research Coordinator for the Latin American Music Center.

• I also work as a Collections Developer and Office Assistant at Indiana University's Latin American Music Center (LAMC). My main duties are to locate and recommend for purchase valuable materials--such as books, dissertations, new periodicals, scores, recordings, videos, etc.--related to any aspect of music in Latin America and the Iberian peninsula, and that are not owned by the IU Music Library.
